It's your weekly dose of VK artwork. Aren't you excited?
Hello?
OK, here goes nothing. The last week or two has been a series of events that have piled on top of each other and made it just a tiny bit hard for yours truly to see straight for a little while. I'm slowly crawling out of the chaos now, but still plugging away to get it all DONE.
Here are a couple of things that I can check off my long list. The first is a pinup for a wonderful all-ages comic book by funny funny guys, Chris and Shane Houghton (at the office we've taken to calling them the "Hobros"). They're great people who write and draw great stories and characters. And who wouldn't love a book about a bumbling cowboy and his best friend and partner in crime, a giant bear? And monsters, the undead, werewolves, a little U.S. History to boot. I did this thinking I could just slap some quick colors on it and be done, but as I started doing that I got caught up in trying to render everything and it took way longer than I had anticipated. Then, I looked at it and HATED IT! Absolutely hated it. I couldn't turn this in to the Hobros like it was. So, I hastily redid it as an old-timey sepiatone thing, just to at least have some color in it. This is what it ended up looking like:

The next, and last, thing I'll post today is another commission. This is actually part two of the commission I posted last week. The commissioner wanted a Batgirl (last week) and a Wonder Woman. He said to do it on my own time and to give him a call when it was done. He plunked down his cash and I was all, "OK!" Here's Wonder Woman:
I should really call that guy.
OK, til next time. I'm gonna go kill myself with cupcakes now! OMNOMNOMNOM!!!!
