[VINCENT] Random Time!

Inspired tonight by the music and the message of  Frank Ocean. Just go listen to his new album already.

Tonight's post is going to be a bit random since I've been doing a lot of little things in the last week, including more commissions, working on a new business card, plotting out a couple of ideas I've had for minicomics for a long time, but never really got down to writing them out til now, catching up with Continuum, Sherlock, Tron: Uprising, and, of course, Adventure Time, and a whole lot of scattered sketching in between.

Here's a Psylocke commission I just finished.

This was pretty fun to do. I'm a rabid fan of The Uncanny X-Force right now and have always thought about drawing Ms. Braddock at some point. Thanks to my commissioner for suggesting this. This was also one of the fastest ones I've done. Including coloring I think it, altogether, took me about 4-5 hours. I wanted to add a subtle hint of Psylocke's past, hence the butterfly in the background.

And one more for tonight.

This is the main character, Gaksital (The Bridal Mask), from a Korean drama that I'm currently watching. It's basically the South Korean version of Zorro, where the mysterious masked vigilante, Gaksital, fights the Japanese imperialist forces and exposes their corruption in old time Korea. It's a very typical K-drama, with the added benefit of martial arts action, so you know I had to watch it. This was done super quick because the image of the hero with the mask was stuck in my head and I needed to get it out. I might actually do another, more detailed, fanart of this later.

OK, I'm done for the night. Notice how I didn't mention anything at all about a certain convention happening at a certain place that is not where I am or will be right now? I know!
